Art, Madness and Transformation
(One-day Intensive)"Alas for those who cannot sing but die with all their music inside them."
Art, Madness and Transformation is a hands-on clay sculpture workshop that utilizes a variety of clay exercises designed to overcome fears centered around one's creative potential.
In this one-day intensive exploration, participants will be guided in accessing their unique creative gifts and encouraged to embrace their 'demons' in a challenging yet safe and supportive environment.
You will:
- re-discover and re-claim your unacknowledged creative potential
- access material buried in the unconscious
- learn how to use the 'language' of symbolic expression
- discover the experience of the process of art as a healing force
Each participant will create a series of small, 3-dimensional sculptures by hand that will embody levels of energy that are typically unavailable in our conscious lives. No prior experience in any form of art is necessary. The only requirement is that one step through the doorway of the workshop and be PRESENT.
Cost: $ 125.00 if if enrolled before workshop begins- $150.00 on date of workshop
PRESENTER - Tom Wolver
Tom has lived and maintained a studio in the Santa Cruz mountains since 1966 where he continues to explore and express the dark passageways that flow through and connect mind, heart and soul.
